SMSP Hammer Mill

High-efficiency hammer mill for fine grinding of feed raw materials and biomass, in two series covering 2 to 35 t/h.

How it works

Working Principle

Material enters the grinding chamber from the feeder on top. Hammers on the rotor, turning at 1,480 rpm, strike the material against the chamber until the particles are small enough to pass through the screen. The screen hole size — from 1 mm to 5 mm — sets the final particle size.

What is the price of a hammer mill in Pakistan?

It depends on the series and model (SMSP600×380 to SMSP965×800), motor power and feeder. Tell us your material and the tons per hour you need and we will recommend and quote the right model.

Particle size is set by the screen. 1–1.5 mm screens give fine grinding for pellet and aqua feed; 3–5 mm screens give coarser grinding for mash feed and biomass with higher throughput.

Yes. The SMSP hammer mill is used in feed and biomass plants. Logs and branches are chipped first, and capacity on wood is lower than on corn.
